It is within minutes of the Mt. Shasta Ski Bowl and McCloud Reservoir. Lassen National Park is about two hours to the south and Lava Beds National Monument is about two hours to the north. There are many fishing opportunities and wonderful nature hikes within a few miles. Shasta Lake is about 45 miles away and McCloud reservoir is about 10 miles away. McCloud Golf Course (9 holes)is about 5 minutes from our home, Mt. Shasta Resort (18 holes) is about 15 minutes and Lake Shastina (27 holes) and Fall River Golf course are within an hours drive.
