The Equestrian Beach Chalet has an open floor plan with high ceilings and well cared for redwood floors and walls. Once a barn with 6 stalls, the main room retains the rustic airy barn feeling, although modernized. Long galley kitchen with long rustic wood bar/counter, gourmet stove, deep sink and large refrigerator blend in nicely with the studio. Long 6 seating dining room table has plenty of space for work and dining. Living room area has comfortable leather furniture and light pours in from the wall of windows. A daybed in the living room accommodates an additional guest. Bathroom has a shower, tile floors and redwood walls. On the main floor, across from the bathroom, is the long master bedroom containing numerous windows and built-in stand-up computer area. There is a full size bed in the master bedroom, which opens up to a side yard. Huge loft bedroom upstairs is divided into two different sleeping areas and work space; One side has a queen bed, dresser and easy chair; sitting room area with sofa, single bed and comfortable chairs are located on the other side. A large table for computer work or homework divides the loft. Large sliding glass door leads to a sizeable sheltered yard with an outdoor bathtub, table for eating al fresco, Adirondack chairs, barbeque and washer/dryer/utility area. This refuge offers an outside cast iron tub under cypress trees where you can take a hot bath and listen to the faint ocean waves. Walk across the road and enjoy over four miles of pristine beach, home to SF's famous Pacheco Break surfer haven or take the walking/bicycle path following the beach. If you are feeling lazy, simply watch the beach from your bed in the 800sq.ft loft space on the 2nd floor. Should you want to explore one of the world's most beautiful cities, downtown San Francisco is a mere 20 minutes away from this secluded paradise on the beach; several bus lines are nearby including the N Judah and Taraval Line.
