FEBRUARY SALE!!!!! 195 PER NIGHT, 150 CLEANING. MIN 4 NIGHTS. Lovely 3 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath 12 minutes to Times Square via subway which is right around the corner! Great for families, groups or those who simply want more space. The layout is wonderful for two couples also as the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment with the bath in the middle. The Master bedroom has a queen. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen-sized bed. And the 3rd bed has a full sized bed plus two twins (a twin trundle and bunk). The apartment sleeps 8 in beds and 9 if someone sleeps on the sofa in the living room. We can also add a foldaway bed. The are is wonderful Washington Heights. Fantastic restaurants!! Some of my favorites are 181 Cabrini Cafe, Emmy Lous, Agave (they make some of the best and freshest Margaritas in the city..all for $4!!!) , Thai, The usual Starbucks, Dominos, McDonalds etc. There is also a cigar lounge and some lovely wine bars tucked away. (we'll send you orientation materials that list them!!) T...he Cloisters Museum (part of the Metropolitan Museum) is within walking distance and once you get there you must have lunch/dinner or at least drinks at the New Leaf Cafe. Check Zagat for tons of others. Riverside Park is a few blocks from the apartment and if you are bikers you will LOVE this trail. It winds through the trees along the Hudson and you can go for miles and miles, stop at the Boat House for lunch or cappachinos and then ride back. It is 12 minutes or so to Times Square on the subway which is around the corner. It is 5 stops, however the first stop is only 5 blocks so it's really 4! The train is express so it zips along. The apartment is located on the first floor in the back. (in NY that means you are one flight up in the back of the apartment and street level in the front. It is very quiet to sleep and there is no one below you in part of the apartment so there are less worries about all the noise your kids are making. No one can hear you. The walls are thick in these prewar bricks and the ceilings rather tall. In this apartment you will feel like a real New Yorker. You can zip to tourist spots or hang out in the neighborhood. Of course Big Apple bus tours come here too.. so you can use hop on hop off if you wish (though the subway is faster!!) This is a GREAT place to call home while visiting Manhattan!!! Hi Kent, just want to thank you. The APT was great and myself and my friends absolutely loved it. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Everyone has your contact information for future stays in this APT and others you manage. Great Management was very important to us in choosing a place, and you made us feel comfortable. There is also alot of shopping in the neighborhood, we didn't see it until driving off. : Thanks Again, will definitely be staying in touch. Shantel and Friends Old Greg (Bellefontaine, OH) Thank you Kent and Meg, had a wonderful stay!! It was a memorable birthday for my daughter and all of us! The apartment was fantastic, excellent transit access, fantastic neighborhood, felt like a real New Yorker! We plan to see 'In the Heights' soon in the Broadway Across America tour. The apartment was exactly as advertised, and we will definitely stay again the next time we visit NYC. A much better way to experience the city than staying in a hotel. Everything was perfect, and Kent was an excellent resource for our stay. Highly recommend!!!' We have rented this apartment twice (2008 & 2009) with another couple and have been impressed both times. We loved the apartment so much that we got married in NY last May and used the apartment for our honeymoon suite.... The apartment is located in Upper Manhattan, in between two subway stops and many bus stops. It is a five minute walk from the Hudson River and some great shops and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need to have a very enjoyable stay in New York. The owner is a excellent resource to help you with your stay in NY. If you rent this apartment you will not be disappointed." Guest: Kelly Roberts1 (Summerville SC) We were all so pleased with both the apt and location. Kent and Meg were WONDERFUL with all the' pre-trip questions and believe me I had many!! I felt so prepared as we set off to conquer NY--they provided us with SO much info, parking, eating, points of interest, subway links/info all within blocks of the apt--the apt was very clean and comfortable --- we have stayed at many locations using VRBO and I really have to say this was the best experience we have had---we drove to the big apple and this apt was very convenient to so many areas of NY, parking in the area of the apt was very doable---if our travels take us back to NY, I will most defintely see if this rental is available. http://www.arkadia.com/zeue-t2103/
