Newly renovated it features bamboo floors, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, microwave, & dishwasher and a beautiful granite countertop. Bathroom is done in travertine and has a generous sized shower. Front door opens onto a small patio with chairs to relax in. Street access is through a locked gate and leads to the patio & front door. Patio is adjacent to area that is used in common with the other tenants of the building for access to laundry facilities in the basement, but generally is semi private. Smoking outside only in patio is allowed. Check out the Noe Valley Voice for the neighborhood newspaper, you'll get a good feel for the community. Nob Hill is considered one of San Francisco's most prestigious addresses! And the Lambourne is located on the Union Square side of the Hill just kitty-corner to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, with an easy walk down to hundreds of shops, restaurants and theaters. Both Cable Car lines are within one block of the Lambourne, and within a few blocks more is Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District and Yerba Buena Gardens and Museums. The Lambourne was previously an all-suite luxury hotel and remodeled into condominiums. The four condos we have available, #101, #105, #201 and #308, each have their own special characteristics, remodeled into comfortable and chic homes. Kitchens have StudioBecker dark-wood cabinetry, stainless steel refrigerator and sink, two-burner stove, microwave/convection and all the supplies and utensils needed for intimate meals (the only thing you're missing is a dishwasher!). New tile baths offer glassed showers, marble vanities, and in-suite Bosch washer/dryer (to be used for "delicates" & light loads only). Linens and towels are of hotel quality and luxury. Each one-bedroom unit has a step-out balcony and a large closet for clothing and storage, and the Studio has a back patio area. A few comments pertaining to our condo's: #101 is at the front of the building, so could be considered lighter and brighter, with views out over Pine Street onto the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, working desk and step-out balcony. Great storage. #308 is at the back of the building. The bed is king-size, and the bedroom also offers an alcove corner with private desk. The sofa is a fold-out double bed. The kitchen has full size refrigerator and is a bit larger with breakfast nook. Homes are designer decorated and extremely comfortable -- NOT Your Typical Corporate Housing!! These are privately owned homes, and the personal touch of the Owners is evident. Do write to us should you be interested in suggested websites of the myriad of tourist sites, shopping destinations, restaurants and cafe's, and the many museums and theaters: all within walking distance, or at least a "hop onto the bus" or taxi fare. For those that have cars, there is a parking garage available one block from the Lambourne (and just happens to be the cheapest one downtown!). There is also a full gym available "Club One" two blocks away. And my top suggestion only two blocks up Nob Hill: cocktails at "Top o' the Mark" with sweeping views over San Francisco!!
